In Vitro Neutralization of Calf-Guard^® with Colostral Whey: Using Lab Results to Understand the Outcome at the Calf-Level.

To understand how colostrum can interact with a newborn oral scours vaccine, researchers analyzed colostrum samples in vitro and determined the overall effect that the vaccine had in the presence of colostrum. Results showed the oral scours vaccine was inactivated and rendered ineffective.
